Job Description
- Ensuring that an organization meets the necessary tax, permit and licensing requirements.
- Collaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company’s ledger.
- Maintain financial & commercial propriety with respect to Plant operations while controlling costs to achieve Budget.
- Control over activities to insure proper allocation of costs and compliance with internal control rules.
- Analyze and provide regular feedback on plant KPIs to all stakeholders, including Manufacturing cost variance analysis, Finance KPIs, Working capital changes, profitability analysis, and other requested reports.
- Preparation of Annual Budgets & forecasts in sync with laid down objectives for operations.
- Summarizing budget trends, analyzing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives
- Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support
- Liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparation
- Analyze and provide regular feedback on plant KPIs to all stakeholders, including Manufacturing cost variance analysis, Finance KPIs, Working capital changes, profitability analysis, and other requested reports.
- Partner cost saving initiatives in the plants to derive cost benefits.
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
- 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Advanced degree in Accounting
- CPA or CMA preferred
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
