Job Description
- Participate in strategic planning and formulating financial and accounting policies for the company.
- Manage short- and long-term objectives of the financial department and prepare financial plans and analysis.
- Supervise and direct the preparation and issuance of the company’s periodic financial statements.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all accounting records, documents, forms, and financial systems.
- Oversee outputs of the ERP system, ensuring adequacy and relevance to the company's operational needs.
- Supervise the safe keeping of all financial records, books, and documents.
- Manage cash flows to ensure the company can meet its financial obligations on time.
- Ensure that payment and receipt procedures are conducted according to accounting principles and company policy.
- Manage the company’s operational expenses within the authority granted by the company’s financial policies.
- Monitor sales and revenue reports and ensure timely and accurate deposit of revenues into approved banks, along with periodic audits.
- Oversee and analyze receivables (customer accounts), update customer credit ratings based on the aging analysis.
- Manage financial transfers, funding operations, and preparation of financial settlement entries.
- Organize all operations related to periodic and annual inventory of fixed assets and cash stock.
- Handle financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and accounting operations.
- Review budgets (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually) and compare them with actual performance, measuring achievement rates against KPIs.
- Support executive decision-making by providing financial reports, cost calculations, feasibility reviews, and economic analysis.
Job Requirements
First: Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience, including time as CFO in a major company.
- At least 10 years of experience in industrial and commercial companies.
- Age must not exceed 50 years.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized university (Accounting major).
- Preference given to candidates residing near Obour City.
Second: Technical Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis and financial statement preparation.
- Familiarity with accounting systems used in manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of financial management and general accounting.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Ability to collect and analyze financial and operational data.
