Job Description
- Procurement Management: Manage the procurement of group products, including packaging machinery, materials, and factory-required items. Implement optimal sourcing strategies and foster strong supplier relationships.
- Shipment Oversight: Oversee the entire shipment process post-procurement to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with logistics partners and resolve any shipment-related issues.
- Nafeza Portal System: Issue ACID through the Nafeza portal system (MTS) to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and efficient documentation processing.
- CargoX Procedure Management: Handle the CargoX cycle and documentation procedures for international shipping.
- Supplier Engagement: Organize and attend meetings with local and international suppliers, negotiate terms, build strong relationships, and secure competitive deals.
- Sales Coordination: Work with the sales team to understand product needs, fulfill procurement requirements, and support alignment with sales objectives.
- Pricing Coordination: Generate accurate price quotations based on the company’s pricing system, collaborating with finance to ensure compliance and support profitability.
- Warehouse Communication: Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels, address inventory issues, and ensure smooth product flow from procurement to storage.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct regular data analysis, track procurement and shipment performance, and evaluate supplier effectiveness to support strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. A degree in Engineering or Science is a plus.
- Experience: 4-7 years of experience in foreign purchasing, with specific knowledge of the European market and procurement processes.
- Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel internationally for supplier meetings and market research as required.
- Shipping & Customs Expertise: Proficiency in shipping and customs clearance to facilitate the smooth movement of goods across borders.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel, including expertise in advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
