Job Description
- Design, develop, and oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various construction projects.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for MEP components.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP installations and operations.
- Ensure all MEP works comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site teams.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials and equipment for MEP systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in MEP engineering or building services.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for MEP systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with site supervision and MEP installation processes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to work in an on-site, full-time, and long-term arrangement.
