Job Description
- Tailor project management, development and support processes to meet the needs of individual (new and/or ongoing) projects.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff; communicate with project teams as Necessary to ensure project deliverable are on schedule and within cost parameters.
- Communicate and collaborate with customers as needed in regards to project deliverable including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with sponsors.
- Make recommendations to management about schedules, privatization and resource allocation with input from team members.
- Provide ongoing project plan/status reporting for use by account managers, clients and Ensures accuracy around project administration, financial and project deliverables, and time-lines.
- Plans and coordinates all aspects, such as meetings, tracking, reporting, UAT, of one or more technology development or implementation projects, or multiple small software development projects from inception to delivery.
- Facilitates initial business requirements gathering and other necessary meetings with Business Analysts, Product Owners and end users.
- Resolves project issues, mitigates risks, and manages scope change requests for all development sprints.
- Drives project deliverables and decisions to completion.
- Coordinates roll-out activities and leads user acceptance testing.
- Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions
- Ensures that the process is followed, including issuing invitations to daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint planning
- Facilitates the daily scrums
- Raises awareness of dependencies and blocks that are impediments to the sprint. Issues need to be prioritized and tracked. Remediation plan created and implemented for impediments in priority order.
- Responsible for PMO control procedures as assigned.
- Coach and train project team members on Software Development processes and best practices.
- Contribute to the design and coding of products.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Seven Years of experience in technology environment, including 4-5 years of practical professional experience in project management.
- PMP certificate.
- Knowledge in MS, .NET, MVC, SQL Server, Work-flow and Object Oriented is a must for this position.
Practical Knowledge in the following :-
- Project Planning and Scheduling.
- Preparing and combining WBS for development and QC teams.
- Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development.
- Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively manage staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills.
