Job Description
Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards in compliance with industry regulations.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure machinery and equipment are operating efficiently and downtime is minimized.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for quality control and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, supply chain, and R&D teams to ensure product specifications are met.
- Manage raw material inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture among staff.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to dairy manufacturing.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Dairy Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in production management within the dairy industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and other relevant safety and quality regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Working Conditions:
- The role may require working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, cold storage, and dairy processing areas.
- Must adhere to safety and hygiene protocols.
