Job Description
- Review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, sketches, and renderings using AutoCAD or other design software.
- Collaborate with project architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and refine project designs.
- Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and construction methods that meet project specifications and budget requirements.
- Coordinate with external consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to integrate architectural designs with other project disciplines.
- Conduct site visits to assess construction progress, resolve design issues, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design concepts, progress updates, and potential challenges.
- Review and approve architectural submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and best practices in architectural design and construction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and construction coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.
- Strong design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing design challenges.
