Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect tracking.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to the project team.
- Quality Assurance:
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of testing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and software development methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
