Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using modern automation tools.
- Plan and execute performance and load testing to assess system behavior under stress and identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing to validate new features and ensure system stability.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and documentation to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test design, automation, and performance validation.
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Solid understanding of functional testing, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing cloud-based or SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of API testing, database validation, and security testing is a plus.
- ISTQB or other QA certifications are an advantage.
