As the leader in the pest control industry, they are significantly expanding their engineering team and looking for passionate Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to build the future of their high-performance service delivery platform.
(*) Job Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, code, and test resilient, highly scalable systems for both web applications and backend APIs used by their mobile apps.
- Work in an Agile Scrum team including engineers, UX designers, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Play a key role in ensuring high-quality code, rapid delivery, and robust technical architecture.
(*) Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Agile Scrum Masters, UX, Product Managers, and remote teams to identify and solve complex technical problems.
- Review and refine code for optimal quality and scalable design.
- Balance implementation complexity, time to market, and system resiliency.
- Design and maintain high-performance database schemas and application architecture.
- Support and empower remote teams to produce reliable and stable code with regular morning interactions.
- Contribute to sprints, meet deadlines, assist teammates, and take ownership of urgent issues.
- Work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in a fully remote environment.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Cursor in at least 50% of your development workflow for at least 3 months.
(*) Working Hours
- 8:00 PM – 2:00 AM (GMT+7), Monday to Friday
- Plus 2 additional flexible hours to complete an 8-hour workday
(*) Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Negotiable, up to $3,000/month
- Contract Type: Independent contractor (no tax or insurance deducted)
- Fully remote: Work from anywhere

(*) Interview Process
1. Initial Interview (30–45 mins) - Live coding + Technical & System Design questions
2. Final Technical Interview (30–45 mins)- Conducted by the US client, deeper in complexity. Includes a 15-minute prep session with us to help you perform at your best. Culture Fit Interview (15–30 mins) - Behavioral questions to assess your teamwork and problem-solving approach
Job Requirements
(*) Requirements
- Excellent spoken English with a clear accent
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Strong grasp of architectural patterns and system design principles
7+ years of experience with:
- PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Unit testing, Integration testing, API testing
- JavaScript, Git, Jira, AWS, API development
- Strong knowledge of code and database architecture best practices
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
- Curious and committed to leveraging AI tools in all areas of software development
