Job Description
- Leading contract negotiations, driving cost savings initiatives, and implementing strategic sourcing best practices.
- Researching and identifying new products and suppliers, assessing tenders from potential suppliers and negotiating prices and approving contracts
- Following up on purchase requirements in addition to the purchasing plan of TMG Group.
- Follow up with financial department on the supplier’s payments issuance.
- Implementing policies and procedures for purchasing processes and ensure they are consistent with TMG Group’s business objectives.
- Review and evaluate specification for issuing and awarding bids.
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities.
- Producing reports and statistics using computer software.
- Monitor all purchase orders and maintain regular follow up with all suppliers and coordinate with vendors
- Monitoring and forecasting stock levels.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 2+ years of experience in the field of purchasing.
- Experience in reading and analyzing technical specifications and making comparisons.
- A good technical appreciation of a wide range of purchasing categories.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
