Job Description
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis.
- Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.
- Identify trends, advise company, and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis.
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with
- Financial Modeling: Preparation of detailed financial models, valuation, and sensitivity analysis.
- Economics & financial model inputs: facilitate the economic analysis of projects from an investment.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modelling tools.
- Manage Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
- Submit Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports.
- Implement and work with Business Intelligence tools and Dashboard reports.
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiency and understand ROI in programs, pricing, as well as new projects.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Support Senior Management team and departments heads with in-depth analysis.
- Prepare presentations to the Board of Directors and Senior Management team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
- Professional certification or advanced degree in finance (CMA, FMVA or similar)
- 7+ years of overall combined corporate finance & planning experience.
- At least two years of recent experience within the real estate industry.
- knowledge of accounting standards and procedures, especially those related to the real estate industry and performance management and reporting.
- Advanced user of SAP/Oracle ERP system with previous exposure to the application within the real estate industry.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking combined with keenness on achieving short term goals.
- Structured mindset, skillful in managing the resources of interlinked, complex projects.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure and show evidence of creative thinking as well as the ability to handle complex problems in a timely manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a very high transaction volume environment.
- Experience in a reputable real estate company is a MUST
- Fluent in Arabic & English language written & spoken
- Sheikh Zayed & near by resident is a MUST
