Job Description
- Developing estimates and bids for construction projects.
- Analyse drawings and specifications.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions.
- Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for Stipulated Price, Design-Build and Construction/Project Management formatted projects.
- Provide clear detailed quantity take offs. - Organize sub-contractor quotations, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract documents and issue proper documented purchase orders.
- Complete Budgeting and Scheduling for project.
- Monitor progress, requisition change orders and identify any potential risks.
- Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and clients.
- Ensure site personnel are provided with proper documentation related to project.
- Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labor costing.
- Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.
- Integrate with BIM team to provide real-time cost 3D visualization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in architectural engineering or construction management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as construction estimator.
- Experience with estimating software and spreadsheet design.
- Ability to use BIM/CAD software.
- In-depth knowledge of project management
- Deep understanding of research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics
Preferred Requirements
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE)
- Experience using iTWO costX and/or VICO office.
