Job Title Technical Project ManagerJob Location Qatar (or other Middle Eastern city)Security Clearance Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearanceDue to the nature of the work and contract requirements US Citizenship is required.Trace Systems is actively searching for an experienced Technical Project Manager who can expertly navigate the deployed environment and direct the maintenance, installation, configuration and testing of communications services across all major combatant commands. This critical role will provide life support and logistics for the deployed personnel stationed in abroad. They will also provide training, installation, operational field support, and management to forward deployed Field Service Representatives that he/she/they will manage. Additionally, they will enhance the DISA MWR program and collaborate with garrison and installation commands to identify any MWR need they may have.Coordinate with operational commands (COCOMs) for deployment of personnel and equipment.Coordinate with CONUS program management in prioritization and scheduling of all O&M, installations, and repairs being performed in theatre.Understanding of military logistic forms policy and procedures for movement of people and material in deployed environments.Facilitate the distribution, deployment, installation, training, and preventive maintenance of communications equipment in each operational theater working with DISA, operational commands, and other as necessary.Prepare cabling and installation of network devices IAW established standards and Government-articulated design, fabrication and installation specifications.Support the execution and evaluation of equipment and technologies during its use in operational theaters.Coordinate the introduction of communications related technologies and equipment with various operational commands and/or Agencies and their supporting organizations.Additional duties will includeSupport of terminal installations, repair, and troubleshooting.Maintenance of communications systems and equipment.Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems.Preparing equipment for installation by inventorying, testing, or modifying equipment as required.Experience with X, C, KA, Ku-band, Tri-band Satellite Terminals and FDMA, TDMA, IP Type Satellite modemsExperience with cabling, VSAT, Cisco routing and firewall technology, IP fundamentals, and desktop & peripheral technologies.Troubleshooting hardware using test instruments and diagnostic tools.A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Program and Project Management.A minimum of five (5) years of experience in OCONUS Program Management positions in the GCC, Southwest Asia, or Africa.An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.Must be able to live and operate in austere and rugged contingency combat environments.Must have the abiity to travel to austere locations to small FOBs and other bases across CENTCOM AOR.Travel frequently by ground convoys and other modes of Military transportation which often experience extensive delays and hostile combat environments.Live and work in a deployed contingency environment (shared cafeteria, shared bath and sleeping quarters, limited amenities)Carry 50s pounds for distances of up to ¼ mile.Work outside for extended hours in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees FahrenheitWork on a ladder or multi-story buildings to install antennas.Required to be in good health and be able to pass medical examinations as dictated by the U.S. Army.Possess a current United States passport.Possess a valid US driver’s license in good standing.Must be able to obtain a valid FBI background check for residency.Experience working with or for Military Garrison or Installation Support commands Experience in Military Signal Planning, Training, and Installation BackgroundUnderstanding of military organizations and Infantry/Combined Arms operations.Proficient with Microsoft suite applications.Current Qatari VISA (other VISA in CENTCOM AOR are negotiable).Qatari Driver’s license or the ability to obtain one (other VISA in CENTCOM AOR are negotiable).Knowledge of the Visa process for in Theater locations such as Afghanistan, Iraq or KuwaitExperience as a Theater Lead FSR.Conversational Arabic is desired.DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security +, CCNA-Security, etc.) An Associate's Degree required.Trace Systems Inc. was founded to support and defend our nation's security interests at home and abroad–– whenever and wherever.
