Job Description

  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
  • Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Repairing equipment and replacing parts
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
  • Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
  • Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
  • Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • Working continuously on a task until completion
  • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
  • Testing and evaluating new technology
  • Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
  • Level1 & 2 support.
  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation (when required) of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Upgrade or migrate the software
  • Trouble shooting, data recovering and reinstalling Software.
  • Providing procedural documentation and relevant reports.

Job Requirements

  • Good Knowledge of Network installing and concepts
  • Good command of English.
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power-Point, MS Project, outlook).
  • Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player, independent employee, ability to learn, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Ability to work on shift basis
  • Ability to work on overnight shifts
