Job Description
- Oversee the implementation process of the assigned tasks in terms of technical specifications and time schedule of the project. And provide recommendations to overcome delays if any.
- Set all the arrangements for sub-contractors to ensure the completion of assigned tasks.
- Commitment to maintain the optimum utilization for project resources and assets (machinery - scaffolding - vehicles - tools - etc.)
- Manage and distribute daily tasks to site team (Supervisors, subcontractors, etc...)
- Ensure that the implemented tasks are complying with the projects' technical specifications and quality standards
- Prepare the implementation plan records.
- Assess and resolve any problems that may arise during the implementation process within his scope.
- Coordinate between the Site Team and the Technical Office Team both respective.
- Responsible for coordinating the receipt process of tasks executed but sub-contractors with the Quality Control Team.
- Check plans, shop drawings, quantities and specifications for accuracy of calculations and project requirements.
- Prepare reports about variation orders, site instructions, Material Inspection Request (MIR), Contractor Inspection Request (CIR)… etc.
- Make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project for the scope.
- Oversee quality control and health and safety matters.
- Attend regular progress meetings and provide daily reports.
- Prepare quantity survey for finished work and snag list.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite & AutoCAD and Adobe a plus.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well with a variety of people and personalities.
- willing to relocate
- PMP certification is a plus
