Job Description
- Produce detailed shop drawings and specify the nature, quantity, and quality of materials required and select suitable materials (wood, metal, accessories, paint, textiles, fabrics, etc…).
- Prepare concept, schematic, and detailed design drawings for furniture especially kitchens and dressing
- Ensure high quality, innovative, functional production solutions and ensure the proper conversion of the design into processes and steps.
- Revise and issue technical file of each order and send it to factory.
- Work closely with other related technical / non-technical departments (production, warehouse, design, procurement, sales, finance, operations, etc…)
- Responsible for the full order until delivery.
- In case any technical problems, technical office engineer is responsible for arranging between factory and sales engineer until problem is solved.
- Present monthly report to the CEO with full work done during the month.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of applied arts or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience as a technical office engineer in furniture factories/woodworks industry.
- Furniture manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Aware of the furniture/interiors industry and the manufacturing phases and components.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD- Shop-drawings - SketchUp- Cut List & MaxCut.
- Excellent command of MS Office applications (Word – Excel - PowerPoint)
