Pre Sales Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with producers to handle pre-sales questions while also closely working with wholesalers to determine opportunities to advance the call into a sales scenario.
• Accurately assist with all forms and paperwork questions from producers.
• Take accountability for requests received over the phone that may require research and follow up to ensure reasonable resolution has been achieved
• Explain underwriting guidelines and interest rates on products.
• Work on complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
• Prepare technical submittals for the coming projects and ensure technical compliance with tender requirements.
• Review the technical components of the proposal before submission to the sales team for final compilation.
• Regular interaction with executives and/or major customers.
• Direct and control the activities of a broad functional area through several departmental managers within the company.
• Participate with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
• Work closely with other internal teams exchanging technical and market expertise, customer feedback and competitive information.
• Act as a consultant/advisor for the sales person, project manager and client in complex technical issues and conduct presentations when required.
• Process customers’ requests for pricing.
• Maintain full up-to-date technical awareness of the services.
• Investigate new technologies and stay on top of technology to innovate new products and services.
