Job Description
- The job purpose of the Stock Controller’s role is to manage the control on inventory transactions, stock count, item codes creation and deliver inventory reporting of the retail and manufacturing sectors.
- A key aspect of the role is to mitigate inventory risks and maintaining a high level of information reliability of the inventory system.
- Assisting management by maintain a solid inventory reporting describe the level of policy compliance, stock taking result, define areas of weakness and recommended improvement.
- Responsible for managing the stock count (continuing and periodic).
- Prepare a stock count yearly and monthly plan.
- Ensure inventory transaction is in compliance with the internal process and policy.
- Ensure the accuracy of the goods return transaction.
- Ensure the accuracy of the intercompany transaction.
- Control the inventory systems reporting accuracy.
- Manage stock transaction data entry in the system.
- Prepare stock count reports and recommend stock adjustment.
- Manage a team of stock analyst and data entry.
- Responsible for creating items on the inventory system.
- Ensure the existing of item barcode.
- Maintain the Item code chart and ensure the item code is immediately recorded.
Job Requirements
- Have experience not less than 5 years in retail and manufacturing industry.
- Have experience in ERP process – Microsoft dynamic AX 2012 is an advantage.
