Job Description
- Provide overall project management and leadership to the project team.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.
- Coordinate the activities of various subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Implement effective quality control and safety measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost optimization and adherence to financial targets.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Analyze and approve payment requests, change orders, and other financial documentation.
- Collaborate with the design team to resolve any technical issues or design changes.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and document all project-related decisions.
- Coordinate the preparation of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and other project documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Projects Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on building projects
- Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, design teams, and project stakeholders
