Job Description
- Report to the purchasing manager for activities approvals for purchase orders.
- Study trends or levels of prices related to materials and supplies locally and globally.
- Study the quantities of materials in the markets and the related quality levels and specifications.
- Study alternatives and alternative supplies (technical and economic efficiency).
- Review the purchase orders received from different units in the organization.
- Determine the three stock levels (upper limit, redial point, and minimum).
- Develop the supplying plans and purchasing directions.
- Perform the supply chain activities, and coordinate vendors and internal operation departments.
- Follow up on spare parts with the suppliers and stores locally and globally.
- Research and develop appropriate procurement policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business, or any related field.
- Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in the purchasing and procurement field.
- Heavy industry experience is a must.
- Very good command of English to handle international purchasing processes.
- Beni Suef residents only.
