Mechanical Estimation & Design Engineer

The Candidate will be responsible for both estimating project costs and creating detailed designs for  manufacturing. You will be a key player in the success of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time,  and to the highest quality standards. 

• Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Utilize estimation software and databases to improve accuracy.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to refine estimates.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals.
• Track and analyze actual costs against estimates.
• Develop detailed designs and drawings using CAD software (AutoCad and Solidworks)
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Perform calculations and simulations to validate designs.
• Select appropriate materials and components.
• Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure design integration.
• Create as-built drawings and documentation.
