Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, and bills of materials.
  • Develop cutting lists for fabrication processes.
  • Revise and optimize design solutions based on client specifications and product capabilities, recommending best value-engineered solutions.
  • Manage and follow up on projects from origination through execution and collection phases.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to overall project plans, reporting progress regularly.
  • Oversee ongoing project IPCs (Interim Payment Certificates) to ensure proper billing and collection.
  • Handle RFIs (Requests for Information) from clients, and coordinate with clients and the ordering department on financial and order variations.
  • Coordinate with the ordering department to confirm delivery dates.
  • Prepare and submit biweekly reports on IPC collection status and guarantee checks status.
  • Follow up on payments to project suppliers to ensure timely and accurate processing.

  • Chief Operations Officer & Project Director

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, technical drawing, or a similar role within the construction or interior design industry.
  • Experience with kitchen design and familiarity with brands like Häcker Küchen is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in technical drawing software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and fabrication processes, including the preparation of cutting lists.
  • Project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to time frames and project plans.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Analytical skills to revise design solutions and recommend value-engineered solutions.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze bill of materials and cost estimates.
  • Experience in managing RFIs and IPCs and understanding financial variations related to projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for preparing reports and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills to follow up on projects and ensure timely delivery and payment processes.
