Job Description
Looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist. He(or)She will work on national or international broadcast newspaper projects— creating and manage digital marketing strategies and campaigns using the recent technologies and tools.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- The digital marketing specialist will be required to manage marketing efforts using media as well as digital tools.
- Development of effective new online acquisition strategies and campaigns especially focused on personalization; actively utilizing customer clone and response models and analytics from the marketing database.
- Collaborate with different teams to manage the newspaper marketing, advertising as well as promotional activities.
- Plan and monitor the ongoing newspaper presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.).
- Conduct strategies to test and optimize user engagement through (A/B testing)
- Generate and optimize content for the website as well as social networking accounts.
- Assist in promoting the newspaper and increase engagements with the help of digital tools.
- Post and moderate campaign specific content on digital platforms and present regular campaign performance reports to the management.
- Possess knowledge of new trends in digital marketing and ensure the newspaper is using the most recent technologies.
- Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with engaged people.
- Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase newspaper and brand awareness.
- Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.).
- Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.
- Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website.
- Collaborate with designers to improve user experience.
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Alexa, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.).
- Understanding of Web Analytics and KPI’s related to online, mobile, and social marketing campaigns.
- Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategy.
- Implementing plans and strategies to increase traffic with a focus on organic (non-paid) sources (Search-SEO, Direct, Referral).
- Work on digital content management tools (Hootsuite, MailChimp, Buffer, Yoast, Ahrefs, Hubspot).
Job Requirements
The Requirements:
- Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English
- Must have a reel or portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities
- Self-motivated, detailed, and good at problem-solving.
- Applicants must have a technical background with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Must have a strong passion for technology
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Outstanding technical skills in this field required
- Ability to work without supervision and deliver good results
- Nationality: Arabic (Preferred)
- Location: Abu Dhabi (Preferred)
- Education: BSc/BA in marketing or relevant field (Required)
