Job Description
- Kipinä’s Lead Teacher is a true believer and understands in the aims, objectives and social mission of Kipinä.
- She will comprehend and oversee the successful implementation and planning of the Kipinä Program across the nursery for all ages and stages.
- She will be responsible for oversight, development of all of Kipinä’s Teachers and Teaching Assistants, to provide training and coaching to ensure the program is evident in each classroom and for every child.
- She will implement classroom management processes in the classes and audit the program on a regular basis to provide evidence of its success.
- She is responsible for evaluations and performance appraisals of academic staff in support of the nursery manager/Principal.
- She will design and implement the relevant systems, processes and structures across Kipinä’s Academic platform to ensure institutionalization of the program.
- The Lead Teacher will support the recruitment process for Teachers and TA’s and help define a budget for Academic Resources by term.
- She will be adept at the laws and regulations pertaining to nurseries in the country that she is working in.
- Will be responsible for the development of all of kipina teachers and assistant teachers to provide training and coaching.
Job Requirements
- The lead teacher will have a bachelor or master degree in education, with at least 4 years of teaching experience
- Maximum age 40 Years
