Job Description
- Responsible for searching for the required items and providing the needs (different project sites) of equipment, tools, raw materials and supplies and receiving them for delivery from suppliers to site stores.
- By searching the local market for the availability of the required items with local suppliers accredited by the company in order to provide them in the required quantity and time specified in advance and the lowest price and the best possible quality.
- Reviews local items and purchase orders received from the purchasing manager after review from the technical procurement engineer in order to ensure that the technical specifications of the items are completed and samples, if any, are required to begin searching for and providing them.
- Follow-up the purchase process from receipt of purchase orders to payment of supplier dues in order to complete the documentary cycle of the purchase process and to complete any related financial matters.
- It searches in the local market for the availability of the required items at local suppliers accredited by the company in order to provide them in the required quantity and time specified in advance and the lowest price and the best possible quality.
- It searches for new suppliers and registers them in the supplier registration register in order to expand the supplier database of the technical procurement engineer and build a strong database.
- It periodically reviews the covenant of the purchase for which it is responsible in order to close the financial documentary cycle of the purchase.
- Communicates and coordinates with the site manager in a continuous manner with the aim of arranging and coordinating the delivery of raw materials and supplies to the site to perform the work assigned to it related to his work tasks in order to achieve the objectives.
