Job Description
- Job description:
- Perform HVAC, mechanical and plumbing systems concept development.
- Generate HVAC, mechanical and plumbing design calculations including load, energy / total cost of ownership analyses.
- Perform equipment selections.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project team members, clients and other disciplines such as architectural, structural, electrical and process to develop designs.
- Checking drawings developed by project team members.
- Mentoring junior staff.
- Lead a design team within the mechanical discipline and takes responsibility for their portion of the discipline's scope, schedule and budget
- Develop construction cost estimates
Job Requirements
- Qualifications:
- A Bachelor degree in mechanical engineer.
- A minimum 10-15 years' experience of working experience in Consultancy / Design Engineering
- Have several techniques in presentation.
- Able to use design automation tools including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Have a working knowledge of fire protection design concepts
- Knowledge of procedures and technical concepts within the HVAC/mechanical/plumbing discipline and the ability to navigate and apply relevant codes to HVAC design projects.
