Job Description
- Manage the following functions to achieve the Business Unit objectives (Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Quality and HSE).
- Participate in setting the annual plan of the Business Unit and translate them into annual goals and targets and cascade them down to the team.
- Develop and set the annual budget of the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with the business unit’s vision and strategies.
- Develop the policies & procedures of the Business Unit functions, ensuring compliance to the set policies and procedures.
- Present the Business Unit results on monthly basis to CEO, outlining, achievements versus plan and suggestions for improvements.
- Explore new opportunities in the existing markets and identify new market opportunities in coordination with the Business Development team.
- Monitor the Business Unit productivity; suggest initiatives and recommend possible investments in new machinery and equipment in coordination with the Strategy team to increase productivity and efficiency of operations.
- Ensure the optimum coordination between sales, Procurement and production and monitor the delivery of the agreed plans ensuring total compliance to quality and safety standards.
- Review sales reports versus the Business Unit targets and ensures that all corrective actions are taken and implemented timely.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering.
- 15 years of experience (+5 in top managerial position).
- Experience in operations and commercial of steel manufacturing industry is a must.
- MBA holder is preferable.
