Job Description

  • Contribute to and manage the marketing calendar for brand defining enterprise digital products and features to attract potential customers.
  • Manage the User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) of all Digital Channels to provide the best experience to existing customers and attract potential customers. Manage the feedback reports on the conducted focus groups with the different customer segments to support the design of efficient and user-friendly channels.
  • Undertake the development and execution of digital advertising activities and campaigns and responsible to develop and deliver marcomms briefs to external and internal parties providing support to execution.
  • Manage Search Engine Optimization execution and monitoring to generate organic and paid leads.
  • Support the updated vision on all industry trends in addition to competitors’ offerings to ensure having continuous enhancements to CIB’s Digital Channels platforms.
  • Monitor the team’s engagement with customers on all Social Media platforms to address any challenges, ensure alignment to the set strategy, increase customers penetration rate, address complaints and any arising issues to attract potential customers.
  • Support Digital Marketing Head in ensuring financial & budget integrity of spend and provide clarity on ROI of digital marketing activities.
  • Ensure evaluation of the end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as programmers), and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
  • Stay abreast of changing digital media marketplace conditions, local competition, consumer trends, research /measurement evolution, digital advertising tech, and provide expertise internally to keep organization in the know.
  • Support Digital Marketing Head during Consumer and Corporate as well as Digital Banking group strategy to complete capture of strategies and plans.
  • Develop Digital Marketing strategy and plans in alignment with internal customers and socialize across marketing departments dealing with the same internal customers.
  • Develop and maintain annual calendar of activities and projects and ensure quarterly update with internal customers.
  • Participate and recommend improvements to policies, processes & procedures to ensure all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled.
  • Manage the day to day operations of the Digital Marketing team and detailed execution of campaigns and tasks.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership during execution of campaigns and tasks to ensure meeting business objectives and managing change.
  • Ensure adherence to inter and intra-department SLAs.
  • Ensure on-time reporting and escalation of issues affecting performance and execution. Ensuring preventive and corrective actions are communicated and implemented.
  • Track all spending and campaign outcomes to calculate ROI and lessons learnt.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and litigate any potential risks.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Information Technology or a related field
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in Marketing functions
  • Understanding of banking and financial services industry globally
  • Prior experience working in a fast growing business in emerging markets

Skills

  • Excellent command of English and Arabic languages
  • Negotiation, communication and problem solving skills
