Job Summary:
The technical pre-sales associate is the first point of contact with customers and accounts. He/She owns the client relationship from first contact till sales contract signing and commissioning before handing it over to the implementation team. The associate will deliver technical consultancy and pre-sales activities by transferring industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving success by driving business growth, influencing sales propositions to win business deals in a Pre-Sales capacity.
- Track and monitor activity and success using Salesforce as a single point of truth for Pre-Sales activity. Ownership of supporting sales to achieve targets.
- Participate in prospect calls sharing information on eVision products and technology during the sales cycle.
- Maintain close, sensitive and long-term working relationships with key customers’ acting as a trusted advisor.
- Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions and writing proposals and tender responses.
- Participate in tradeshows and coordinate strategies for lead follow-up after trade shows.
- Be able to position and present eVision product offerings.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations, and provide support at external and internal customer and deliver Proof of Concepts (POC)..
- Deliver chargeable Technical Services to new and existing customers for products.
- Analyze the clients’ need and identify opportunities and future potential of sales.
- Monitor accurate and correct delivery of software sold.
- Liaise with local, International and corporate support teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of technical issues that may arise during the pre-sales process
Job Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years proven technical and IT services pre-sales experience;
- Proposal and Tender writing experience
- IT banking experience is an asset
- Excellent English skills both spoken and written
- Proven communication skills
- Strong presentation skills.
- Good listening skills
- Ability to explain and present technical solutions;
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Ability to multi-task, to work autonomously and prioritize own work
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Positive attitude and eagerness for sales success
- Self-motivated, reliable and highly structured approach to work
- Team worker who works well under pressure and adapting to new challenges
