Job Description

Job Summary:

The technical pre-sales associate is the first point of contact with customers and accounts. He/She owns the client relationship from first contact till sales contract signing and commissioning before handing it over to the implementation team. The associate will deliver technical consultancy and pre-sales activities by transferring industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving success by driving business growth, influencing sales propositions to win business deals in a Pre-Sales capacity.
  • Track and monitor activity and success using Salesforce as a single point of truth for Pre-Sales activity. Ownership of supporting sales to achieve targets.
  • Participate in prospect calls sharing information on eVision products and technology during the sales cycle.
  • Maintain close, sensitive and long-term working relationships with key customers’ acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions and writing proposals and tender responses.
  • Participate in tradeshows and coordinate strategies for lead follow-up after trade shows.
  • Be able to position and present eVision product offerings.
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations, and provide support at external and internal customer and deliver Proof of Concepts (POC)..
  • Deliver chargeable Technical Services to new and existing customers for products.
  • Analyze the clients’ need and identify opportunities and future potential of sales.
  • Monitor accurate and correct delivery of software sold.
  • Liaise with local, International and corporate support teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of technical issues that may arise during the pre-sales process

Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years proven technical and IT services pre-sales experience;
  • Proposal and Tender writing experience
  • IT banking experience is an asset
  • Excellent English skills both spoken and written
  • Proven communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to explain and present technical solutions;
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multi-task, to work autonomously and prioritize own work
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness for sales success
  • Self-motivated, reliable and highly structured approach to work
  • Team worker who works well under pressure and adapting to new challenges
