Job Description
- Receive master requests regarding the CREW needs (i.e. ship formality to issue crew shore pass, sign on /off, and departure formality, change of crew) and carries out its procedures with the relevant entities such as port immigration dept., customs, port state investigation dept., and travel agency.
- Receive any requests regarding the Vessels requirements, and communicate that to relevant parties to assure providing it.
- Follow up on daily activity carried by the unit staff to ensure that the operation is handled in properly
- Arrange vessels departure procedures & coordinate that with the different parties involved.
- Receive any requests regarding the crew needs, and communicate that to relevant parties
- Submit the arrival documents to the vessel master to fill, and receive master/ship certification.
- Review the validation of ship certificates & officers’ licenses, and deliver it to the Maritime Inspection Authority to get the port clearance for vessel sailing after a complete operation.
- Assure that Vessel Operation team attends boarding the vessel upon arrival and maintain daily attendance during vessel stay, and last one before sailing.
- Ensure that all relevant public authorities (i.e. Agriculture Quarantine, Health Quarantine, Customs, Nebular Power Party, and Fire Fighting Admi.) are informed with the arrival vessel depending on kind of cargo.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in logistics or equivalent
- Operational Background and shipping background is preferably
Language Skills:
- Very good command of English
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Ability to adapt to new software technology
