- Designing and managing processes and procedures for ongoing operations of the system environments.
- Administering and monitoring LAN and WAN with good knowledge about TCP/IP Protocol.
- Administering Windows 2008 & 2012 server with good knowledge about DNS, DHCP, File Server, Print server, and Active Directory.
- Administering Linux Server, preferred who worked with Ubuntu Server.
- Generating technical documentation and the team knowledge base.
- Assessing new technologies and products, applying industry best practices, and methodologies to engineering and operations activities.
- Conducting periodic safety tests of system security, performance, reliability, and load.
- Assisting the service desk and operations in resolving system performance issues.
- Resolving operational issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing necessary corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
- Installation and Configuration of Local and Network Printers, Scanners, Wireless Access Point, fingerprint Devices.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a help desk technician.
- 4-5 years of experience administering Linux systems in production environments.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Working knowledge of NoSQL and MYSQL databases.
- Must have hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, Hypervisor.
- Must have hands-on experience with Desktop and Server Hardware.
- Familiarity with some Windows OS and Macintosh OS Admin preferable.
- Aware of the software life cycle.
- Experience working with Jenkins.
- Bash scripting knowledge.
- Manage server backups. “Veeam"
- Must have hands-on experience with Mikrotik routers.
- Ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex systems and network environments.
- Have experience in Firewall tech (Sophos).
