Job Description

ICIS is seeking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with a background in software development technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing solutions to meet business requirements. Candidate will also participate in testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications to improve business processes.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Develop detailed Business Requirements Document (BRD).
  • Develop detailed System Requirements Specification (SRS).
  • Develop detailed technical system Documents such as (Functional and None Functional Requirements, User Stories, Use Case, Data Flow Diagrams, Business Process Models, System Design, ... etc.).
  • Develop high-level project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and business processes to meet user requirements.
  • Conduct research to identify new technologies and methods to improve business processes.
  • Participate in developing QA activities (Test Plans, Test scenario, Test Cases).
  • Participate in developing and maintaining user manuals and training materials.
  • Collaborate effectively and communicate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams during all system phases to meet user requirements.
  • Monitors overall business system effectiveness and recommends potential process improvements.
  • Monitor project progress and manage the change requests and impact analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science/engineering or equivalents.
  • 5+ years of work experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing projects and software development life cycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques.
  • Experience with data modeling and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Experience with software development tools such as JIRA, Git, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of systems architecture and design.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
  • Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is a plus.
  • MBA, PMP or other related advanced degree is a plus.
