Job Description
• Establishing a procedural framework for identifying, distributing and filing for Document Control Department for All MEP Projects.
• Establishing for All Logs (Shop Drawings - MAR – RFI- MS – IR - MIR - etc.).
• Establishing for All Reports Related to MEP Sector.
• Establishing Coding System for all Document and coordinate with Client / Consultant / Main Contractor.
• Implement standard procedures for receiving, dispatching, distributing & filing of documents being handled in the section.
• Attending all project MOM & Kick of Meeting for All New project with (Tendering department - business development department - operations department - VRF department).
• Establishing for All Org. Chart to New Projects and coordinate with Operations Director.
• Revise all Documents from Tendering Department and business development department (BOQ - Specs – Drawings – Commercial and Technical Offers, etc.)
• Submission All Documents related to the beginning of all projects (Org. chart and CVs – Baseline – Procurement Log – Shop Drawings Log).
• Coordination with the owner / consultant / Main contractor on the method of Submit and Receive documents, the number of copies and forms used in the Project.
• Establishing distributing Matrix related to the project to (Top Management - Engineering Department - Operations Department - Cost control – Planning, etc.).
• Standardizing the method of sending Emails by the Document Control department for all projects, with clarification of the project name and the Subject of the Email.
• Follow up on all Document Control Team and Visit sites on weekly basis.
• Follow up for Registration and Filing for all documents and all drawings in each project.
• Coordination with IT department for operation and maintenance all Printer and PCs related to the Document Controller at HQ and Sites and follow up for any delay.
• Coordination with QA/QC department for any Submission document “IRs – MIR” Reports.
• Train all Document Controller for DC procedural establishing Template and Logs and Follow-up.
• Train each team on (Microsoft Excel advanced - Microsoft Power Point – Microsoft Word).
Job Requirements
- Any High Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience – 3+ year in the same position in Contracting/construction
