Job Description
- Responsible for managing the following four areas:
- IT Infrastructure
- Network, Security and Voice
- IT Service desk
- ERP administration
- Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure technology including servers, desktops, storage, networks, operating systems, platforms and configurations.
- plan, direct and design their company’s IT infrastructure while simultaneously managing the IT team responsible for maintaining that infrastructure.
- making sure that all relevant data is properly collected and stored. This can include performance metrics, service levels, server status and both planned and unplanned system outages.
- The primary duty of an Infrastructure Manager is to ensure their employer’s systems are online and fully operational as much as possible.
- Design IT policies and procedures, apply them strictly on the environment, monitor, report and handle all policy breaching cases.
- Ensure having the proper hardware either on client or enterprise level (servers, Network devices, storage)
- Design backup procedures for all IT services ensure having all IT services and data recovered after any unexpected failure, design the perfect restore process to recover services in the shortest time.
- Manage Network, Security and voice services ensure using the proper solutions to provide secured communication channels for all our sites.
- Ensure getting the perfect software to rectify business needs either on the enterprise level or on department/individual level.
- Responsible for organization data center(s) ensure having all data center components in healthy environments, monitoring the data center physical conditions by using proper tools.
- Taking the decision of providing the proper wireless or wired access based on business needs and conditions, the main task is to provide secured stable connection to all business partners.
- Manage all messaging tools and applications that ensure having collaborative environment.
- Involved in designing most of the CAPEX part in IT budget ensure having the proper disposal policy plan for all IT assets.
- Manage all warranty and support service agreements for all IT assets, ensure having all our assets covered by the proper SLA based on business needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Sciences, Technology, degree or relevant experience
- Specific experience with Microsoft Operating Systems 2012R2 to 2019 , Azure and Microsoft office 365
- Specific experience with Spectrum protect and Veem Backup
- Experience with Cisco ASA firewall technology and Cisco switching and routing
- Experience with Kaspersky Endpoint Protection
- Experience with Zabbix and PTRG is a plus
- Experience with VMware 6.5 including VLAN and Enterprise Plus features
- Experience with IBM SANS and IBM tape liberary is a plus
