Job Description

Our client is a Multinational Company in the Sanitary Fittings industry and they're looking for a Head of Retail with the below roles:

Role Purpose:

Ensure the fastest development of Egypt sales growth within Retail and Wholesale with company's mission. The primary purpose of the role is to lead and manage Egypt retail team to achieve annual sales targets, develop and coach the team, drive the increase in market share within this sector and enhance the geographical presence of the company within the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Collectively accountable for the overall delivery of the Retail. The role holder will be one of the main actors in strategic planning for this channel’s development.
  • Manage a successful team with clear objectives and full alignment with company’s general targets and missions.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and discount structures to safeguard overall targets.
  • Ensure a high level of forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor the performance of the key accounts versus pre-set targets and KPIs in addition to defining and overseeing plans to target Key Accounts to ensure exceptional brand loyalty.
  • Set the expansion plans for the Key Account’s showrooms and OTCs along with their geographical distribution. Manage and deploy a healthy geographical spread of dealers within the country.
  • Ensure the proper products display and mix among all the retailers within Egypt.
  • Coordinating with Marketing manager to develop and execute promotional campaign and selling activities to increase sales turnover.
  • Monitor and analyse the sales figures (sell out data, stock movement, product mix…).
  • Identify marketing / specification events to maximize exposure and new business opportunities and explore / report on events that enhance brand strength within the country.
  • Qualitatively adapt and execute the distribution policy in the market.
  • Measure and analyse critical success factors for best practice and implement improvement processes.
  • Monitoring budgets and guidelines at all times.

Job Requirements

  • FMCG, Building Materials and/or Sanitary Ware background is much preferable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent, MBA (is a plus).
  • Deep knowledge of Egypt market.
  • Experienced in managing a big team.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic languages.
