Job Description
- Understanding customers’ diverse, specific business needs and offering products proposals to meet those needs
- Working on deals assigned to the sales team, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the presales manager.
- Providing the technical solution required addressing any customer requirements, and recommending solutions that optimize value for the customer.
- Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and Alkan CIT group needs
- Maintaining awareness and keeping up-to-date of constantly changing software, hardware systems, and peripherals.
- Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting paperwork.
- Responsible for calculating client quotations and administering clients’ accounts
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in communication and Electronics engineering
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the proposal field
- Experienced in the automation industry, preferably with solutions background, including (DCS, PLC, ESD, SCADA, and Instrumentation, BMS, Fire & Security) solutions
- Past/Current Sectors Experience: (Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Energy, Utility)
- Regional Experience (Europe, Africa, GCC) is a plus
- Excellent verbal/written/presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate at executive management levels internally and externally
- Demonstrated experience in conflict management
- Ability and willingness to travel with typically 50% away from home.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages, French is a plus
