Job Description
Oracle Apps DBA is required with Bachelor degree and 3-5 years experience in the following:
- Perform Oracle Application 11i and R12 administration tasks; design, build, tune, install, configure, troubleshoot, and resolve application related issues.
- Plan, design, install, configure, and tune Oracle Applications Rel 11i & Rel 12 environments.
- Minimum of 2 Apps R11 to R12 upgrade projects experience
- Maintain, administer, and upgrade Oracle Financials ERP systems including trouble shooting and performance tuning.
- Linux/ Unix Solaris system Administration
- Maintain, administer, and upgrade Oracle Discoverer 11g.
- Provide support for production environment and functional and performance testing.
- Provide Oracle Database 10g and 11g administration support.
- Dealing with concurrent managers troubleshooting and Requests
- Database Development (SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, deployment)
- Work with development, testing, and training to implement new applications in production, install new releases of existing applications and troubleshoot issues across Production & Non-Production environments.
- Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
- Backup of database both online, offline and through RMAN.
- A good knowledge of Oracle security management.
- Oracle OCP is plus.
- Sun Certified System Administrator is plus.
