Job Description
As a LBU Manager EG you will be a part of the Industrial Automation Division and Business Unit Measurement & Analytics based in 10th of Ramadan City; Egypt. You will ensure Profit & Loss and business growth through the local representation of the Global BU. You will oversee country operations management of the Local BU, including the full scope of Marketing & Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operational Excellence.
Tasks:
Your main responsibilities in this role will include:
- Strategy: Implementing the Global BU strategy in the country/cluster, and ensuring business development, including Profit & Loss, in domestic and allocated market.
- Provides input to Global BU strategy. Participating in Local BU strategy development in partnership with Local Division management team.
- Marketing & Sales: Overseeing all Marketing & Sales activities within the Local BU.
- Performance Targets: Ensuring development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensuring achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
- Market Opportunities: Evaluating market opportunities and deciding appropriate activities in line with the strategy.
- Coordinating opportunities across Local Divisions and Local Business Units where appropriate.
- Growth: Ensuring profitable business growth in the domestic and allocated market.
- Quality: Overseeing production and/or execution of high quality products, services and processes.
- Monitors quality metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement in local execution, and overseeing improvement activities.
- Project Execution: Ensuring the execution of projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results and customer satisfaction.
- R&D: Overseeing relevant local R&D initiatives.
- Customer Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- HR: Ensuring (with HR manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Job Requirements
- As the ideal candidate, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical engineering with 10+ years’ experience in sales.
- Should have good understanding of Egypt market.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
