Job Description
- Monitors day-to-day work progress and prepare weekly and monthly status reports, and production schedules.
- Ensures regular update of production and procurement plans in line with the production schedule.
- Act as a liaison between technical office, production, procurement, warehouse, and sales (showroom) teams to ensure successful delivery of all client requirements.
- Supervises the preparation of the production resource plan taking into consideration available capacity (manpower, machines, and area) in coordination with the Production Supervisors.
- Liaises with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure storage availability of raw materials, and finished goods and monitors the unexpected delays on the project plan.
- Liaises with the client relations coordinator and finance teams to ensure successful completion and delivery of all work orders according to time plans.
- In collaboration with technical office and procurement, conducts material requirements planning for custom/special orders.
- Prepares and issues the deviation report providing recommendation for corrective action and reports the plan results and achievements
- Analyzes performance data to identify production plan variances using established processes and ad-hoc problem-solving.
- Projects short and long-term volume estimates, using input from Sales, Production, and Purchasing to provide the system with accurate volumes to be used in budgeting.
- Follows-up with the production team on the completion of customer orders within agreed timeframes and informs customers with the delivery timeline and payment terms and conditions.
- Ensures regular update of production plans and submits regular reports to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Production Engineering or Applied Arts.
- 3-5 years of experience related to production planning.
- Good Command of English Language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
