Job Description
Job purpose: to provide administrative support to Security & Armed forces Department.
Tasks:
The Admin assistant will be responsible of performing generic administrative duties as follows:
- Assists drafting calendar of activities,
- Generates administrative and budgetary/financial reports for the department,
- Assists in conducting events and activities for IHL/IHRL dissemination,
- Maintains contacts with external interlocutors
- Ensures follow up and updates of lists and tables on different databases/platforms/software
- Prepares paperwork and correspondence including internal & external mailing, faxes,
- Arranges appointments for the Department within and outside the Organization,
- Manages department’s filling and data platforms,
- Takes minutes of meeting and drafts reports,
- Handles confidential information and applies discretion at all times
Job Requirements
Selection requirements:
- University degree, preferably in business administration or similar discipline,
- At least 3 years work experience in a similar field, with good reference,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic,
- Previous experience organizing training events for high ranking officials is an advantage,
- Very good computer skills (MS Office applications), Experience in using collaboration tools/platforms is an advantage,
