Job Description;
- Drive sales growth for MCC, deliver and exceed individual and collective department targets for the Metallurgy Business,
- Handle and forecast all bids relating to the field, including specifying MCC’s Metallurgy range of products,
- Propose new products for both trade and manufacturing based on customer demand along with a detailed sales plan with clear KPI’s and targets,
- Develop a deep and comprehensive understanding of the segments with particular focus on end users, consultants, specifiers and other decision influencers involved in major foundaries and other businesses in the field.
- Drive margin growth per product line and execute on clear plan to deliver higher margins year-on-year,
- Create and execute a measurable business plan with clear targets segments, clients and verticals for the metallurgy business,
- Create a weekly schedule of marketing activities required including target consultants and key end users for business development specialists to pursue,
- Create and follow-up on product and pricing failures on lost opportunities to drive marketing requirements and asses pricing in the market,
- Create a clear forecast with highest accuracy to feed supply chain for raw materials preparations.
- Own client satisfaction score card for delivery and quality based on consistent customer feedback to attain highest scorecard,
- Maintain CRM KPI´s in line with business targets, including clear client data, key decision maker contacts and special notes concerning the business interaction with MCC.
- Mitigate risk by balancing sales across key accounts and broaden supply channels and create a strategy diverse route-to-market,
- Create and maintain a clear and detailed monthly demand review report including but not limited to;
- Clear manufacturing target schedule per order/client,
- Accurate sales forecast for 3-months rolling,
- Maintain a clear quotation log with accurate data on the following;
- Expected date of order (supply chain planning)
- Winning probability (financial driver)
- Reasons for lost opportunities (marketing driver)
- Notes on quotation for extra work required by other departments (business development driver)
- Metrics shall include but no limited to;
- Growth year on year,
- Actual invoiced sales versus target,
- Actual collection schedule versus target,
- Actual gross margin versus target,
- Actual hit rate versus target,
- New account introduction,
- CRM maintenance,
