Job Description

As a Secretary you will assume the duty of clerical and administrative support in order to optimize workflow procedures in the office.

You will assist colleagues and executives by supporting them with planning and distributing information.

You will be the point of reference for all queries and requests or issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Letter writing.
  • Dealing with telephone and email inquiries.
  • Creating and maintaining filing systems.
  • Scheduling and attending meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes - shorthand may be required.
  • Keeping diaries and arranging appointments.
  • Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain presentations, spreadsheets and databases.

Job Requirements

  • BA in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a secretary or administrative assistant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Presentation skills
