Job Description
- Responsible for compiling buying rates for ocean freight (LCL & FCL)
- Handle quotation requests from S.E. Region branches using standard templates and maintaining rate database.
- Updating existing quotations as needed.
- Work closely with Dept. managers and sales personnel
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in Pricing & Filling Sea Freight Rates in Freight Forwarders Companies
- Full knowledge and has good relationships with most of the shipping lines
- Full knowledge by shipping & logistics market & competitors
- Strong ability in negotiations assists in getting lowest prices
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Operation Sea Freight
- Ability to make comparisons among rates
- BS in Business or Logistics, or comparable work experience in the field
- Strong operational background in the sea freight field
- With good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Solid PC operational knowledge including Microsoft Office applications experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
