Job Summary:
Sales Support specialist is an indoor administrative role supporting and connecting the sales team & the clients.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supporting role to both sales team and clients.
· Generating and tracking the quotations with customers promptly.
· Communicating and building relations with shipping lines.
· Tracking and organizing the sales leads, coordinating the quotations, proving customer service, and managing customer accounts.
· Monitoring the performance of the sales team and recording and distributing the sales data.
· Answering customer inquiries, scheduling meetings, and sales appointments.
· Submit the quotations of handled requests on system.
· Contact shipping lines for freight rates based on the destination, transit time, free days, and requirements provided by the customers.
· Update the pricing database regularly.
Job Requirements
- Any relevant Bachelors’ Degree.
1-3 years of experience in inside sales, must be in Freight Forwarding, shipping and/or Logistics.
Experience in administration and high-volume office work.
Self-motivated with multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications, especially excel.
Very good English language.
