Job Description

Post Overview:

  • As MAB’s academic committee manager, you should be responsible for designing, building and monitoring academic content in MAB institute. This post requires you to manage and organize material between the academic committee members, who are involved in preparing the course specs of MAB institute. You should be able to transform the market needs —provided by the business development team— to training courses, fulfilling the market gaps.

Post Duties and Responsibilities:

Build courses:

  • Preparing tenders for courses.
  • Conduct literature reviews for technology trends.
  • Receiving instructions and market gaps from industrial clients
  • Outlining course objectives, materials, and pre-requisition.
  • Directing and undertaking pilot course framework.
  • Collecting, analyzing and interpreting qualitative and/or quantitative data, for course creation.
  • Requestor acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the course,

Coordinate between academic committee members:

  • Develop and assist in the development of interview schedules between course committee.
  • Supervise working members on the course content project
  • Writing minutes of meeting and progress reports during the course creation phase
  • Creating a report on each course results and feedback supported by recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects.
  • Attend area seminars and other meetings when necessary

Course execution:

  • Assist with preparation of all educational and training workshops and evaluation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the running courses/workshops
  • Handle follow-up paperwork.
  • Collect feedback on the course from various sources.
  • Ensure that the course complies smoothly.
  • Assist with problems identified with respect to course delivery.
  • Support the quality assurance of courses within the team.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

To be qualified for this post candidates must fulfill the following criteria

Education:

  • A. in Computer engineering or Computer science.
  • Master degree is a plus.

Work Experience:

  • 2 -3 years of work experience in a research field.

Language:

  • English and Arabic fluency (written, read and conversational)

Competencies:

  • Highly aware of research methodologies and techniques
  • Project management experience
  • Analysis experience
