Responsibilities:
- Review and study all subcontractors’ contracts and add project data to the contract (item, Qty, start and finish dates)
- Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of work performed.
- Prepare subcontractors’ invoices and evaluate them based on site progress rate..
- Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
- Responsible for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and resource.
- Responsible for managing all site expenses and its reports.
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
- Take action to recover from delays caused by bad weather, emergencies, or any events of similar nature at construction site then determine its impact on project’s time schedule in coordination with the planning engineer.
- Setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
- Prepare employees evaluation and appraisal for the site staff.
- Assist the technical office manager in variation orders process when requested by subcontractors.
- Initiate variation orders when the subcontractor requests variations out of the contract’s scope, and discuss it with the technical office manager.
- Responsible for preparing and sending the daily report to the technical office engineer in coordination with the project manager.
- Weekly update the project time schedule in coordination with the technical office engineer.
- Issue purchase orders (PO) for required construction materials and subcontractors requests.
- Overseeing the requisition, storing and handling of all construction materials in site.
- Issue & respond to RFIs (Request for Information).
