Job Description

  • Support the Senior Management team (SMT) in the development and implementation of communications strategies, guidelines and plan for Life Makers Foundation according to its overall strategic directions,
  • Support the SMT in the development of communications policies and plans through internal and external communications,
  • Lead the development and implementation of effective and systematic ways of communicating lessons, good practices, and evidence of changes and use them to influence thinking, policy, and practice at the community, partners, donors, volunteers and general population levels etc.
  • Facilitate the planning, organizing and undertaking issue-based or programme/sector specific campaigning events, meetings, conferences, workshops etc. together with relevant programme team.
  • Lead the development and dissemination of relevant developing humanitarian and development situational reports
  • Lead the dissemination of LMF brand to make it recognized, respected, accepted, and protected at all levels.
  • Prepare communication messages (speeches, press releases, cases studies, ) for the foundation and any other authorized spokespersons as required.
  • Coordinating communication activities and events.
  • Take a pro-active approach to providing excellent customer service – to both internal and external customers and beneficiaries.
  • To ensure the compliance of different communication-related activities with the Foundation donor care strategy.
  • Participate in donor visits for showcasing progress and achievements.
  • Monitors individual, team and call center results to identify and act on both positive and negative performance trends to ensure attainment of call center goals and performance targets.
  • Provides communication and follow up to ensure representatives are fully informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs and foundation related issues, changes or actions.
  • Reviews quality of telephone service provided and determines new/recurrent training needs of individual and/or team. Coaches and motivates staff to achieve maximum productivity and quality scores.

Job Requirements

  • A university degree in business, Social Science/Mass communication or related field and relevant experiences and abilities; certification in Marketing is a plus,
  • Experience in marketing management, communication management for at least 6 years; Previous Experience with international NGOs is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing effective strategies and business plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Knowledge of statistical tools.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creativity and commercial awareness.
