Job Description
- Thorough Research: R&D engineers conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics and trends. By staying informed about the latest developments, they identify areas where new product development and innovation are possible.
- Product Design and Development: Using engineering principles, R&D engineers design and develop new products. They leverage tools like computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed product designs and specifications.
- Testing and Validation: Once a product is designed, R&D engineers test and validate it. They ensure that the product meets required specifications and performance standards. Collaboration with other engineers and cross-functional teams is essential during this phase.
- Compliance and Standards: R&D engineers ensure that all product development procedures adhere to industry standards and regulations. Compliance is crucial to guarantee safety, quality, and legal requirements.
- Technical Reports and Presentations: They prepare detailed technical reports and product presentations for stakeholders. Effective communication is key to conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering
- Experience: 3 to 5 Proven experience in research and development is valuable. Ideally, candidates should have worked in a manufacturing or finished goods industry, gaining practical insights into product development
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of engineering principles and design methods is crucial. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CypCut etc.)
- Strong understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes (bending, cutting, punching, welding, etc.).
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in sheet metal design.
