About the Internship
  • Xtrava is a fast growing startup in the USA that is looking for a highly motivated interns to work on developing experiments for machine learning algorithms to solve problems with high-dimensional state and/or action spaces.
  • The emphasis is on learning a representation that is suitable for decision making. A successful candidate will collaborate with Xtrava researchers to design and analyze new algorithms, implement them, perform experiments, and prepare results for publication.
  • The duration of the internship is expected to be 2 months.
  • The starting date is expected to be June 18th. The intern will be working from the ASU iHub but will be communicating daily with the Xtrava team in the US.
Internship Requirements
  • The candidate should have a strong background in software engineering, and good programming skills.
  • Prior understanding and knowledge in machine learning is a plus.
  • The candidate should be comfortable implementing the prototypes of the developed algorithms in Python and/or Matlab.
  • The candidate is expected to be a Junior/Senior undergraduate student in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. .
